Psyren (manga)

PsyrenYoshina Ageha is a high school student who offers to help people with their problems for 10 000 yen. He'll take care of your stalkers, find your lost animals, whatever you want. One day, when he's heading home, a nearby pay phone rings, and he picks it up. The only thing he hears however is his own voice echoing. After finding a mysterious card with the word 'Psyren' printed on it, his life suddenly changes as he is drawn into a crazy new world.
another manga and this is quite a good one. it's finally completed and i'm a little sad that it ended so soon. well 145 chapters is quite a lot though, but i had hoped it would continue. the ending was nice, but i wasn't like wowed or anything by it. the plot can be quite complicating but as the series progresses, you'll slowly start to understand. the art is great and there's so much humor despite all the action in it. there's also some romance which is a big big plus for me hehehehehe it's one of my favourites in my top ten manga together with 'from far away'. love that latter a lot too hehe
well you can find this series in mangafox and mangareader and it's complete! so you won't have to keep waiting for updates and all. enjoy^_^

Fairy Cube (manga)

Ian is a special boy - he can see fairies. He seems to have a twin called Tokage who can only be seen by him and a pair of wings on his back. This pair of wings, his father scars to prevent him from flying away as his wife, Ian s mother left father and son. In the city he is in, a number of grisly murders occur. These murders are known as the Fairy Murders as the victims have backs slit open, with blood pouring out in the shape of a butterfly s wings. Ian s childhood friend returns and Tokage gets him into trouble, and slowly Ian begins to unravel the past and realise who he is, and solve the Fairy Murders.
at first, i thought that this was just a fluffy manga so i wasn't really bothered to read it. it also didn't help that it was only 18 chapters long which was a little short for me. but one day, to pass time, i decided to go ahead and read it and surprisingly enjoyed. i won't really say it's excellent but for a manga of that length, i think it's good.
the art is great. and the story could have been even better if it had been longer with more details. but still, it had almost everything that i enjoy-comedy, action, fantasy, romance. the ending was ok for me as i was hoping for a little more. overall, it's a good read to pass your time if you've got nothing to do online. you can find it on mangareader and it's complete. enjoy

Ookami-San (anime)

Ryoko Okami is a tomboyish high school girl. She is a Member of a 'trading' club so called Otogi High School Bank. She and the other members of the club fixes student's or client's problems at any lengths, in exchange for the students helping them out later.
well this anime, i wouldn't call it excellent but it definitely helps in passing time. it's a romantic comedy and i learnt a new word. sochophobia...wrong spelling? well, anyway, this apparently means a fear of being seen and our hero has it lol and our hero here is ryoushi who actually manages to confess to ryoko. grins there are some really moments and then, there are some really hilarious moments. but one thing i didn't enjoy and yet did enjoy was the narrator. why i didn't like that was because it got mixed when our heroes were talking and was hard to see the subtitles. there were too many and was hard to distinguish who was speaking what...well it's confusing but you'll know what i mean when you do see this anime.
and yet at the same time, i did enjoy the narration because the voice actor was so good. there was so much emotion in the narration itself hehe made me really laugh at times. kudos to the narrator.
this is just a simple anime, no such complicating plots and all. but if you're looking for some lighthearted comedy with some romance in it, you might want to give this a try. it's complete and online. you might want to try veoh, it has all the episodes with english subtitles. enjoy^_^

Bad Guy(korean drama)

i finally finished watching this. it took me quite a while although it's just 17 episodes as the genre is not really my cup of tea. this is more tragic, psychological, sad, suspense, mystery with of course, a bit of romance. but still, i completed as i was really drawn to the characters especially our main leads.
gun wook wants revenge against haeshin group, a company to whom tae soong is the heir. jae in is a woman who wants to marry rich so that she can live comfortably...their lives become entangled.
what can i say? it was kind of a dark series but some parts really touched me and got to me. although i enjoyed this series, i'm more of a happy ever after person, so i definitely didn't like the tragedy and the ending. i hoped it could have been better but it broke my you guys can guess what's likely to happen huh hehe kk no spoilers more than this. all in all, this drama is a nice addition to those of you who are interested in suspense and mystery. that was great and kept me thinking though i had my suspicions. i watched this is dramacrazy although you can find it in mysoju as well. hope you enjoy this.

Runaway Plan B is Great

i know i said i would write after this show was complete but i couldn't help it. i'm now nearly halfway through the series and runaway plan b is on the right track for me. not only doesn it have action, mystery, suspense and romance as its genres, it also has lots of comedy. it's in one word...hilarious!!
even the policeman is funny at times hehehe the cast, everyone is great. i sure hope to see more of rain in action romantic roles sighhhh a love to kill was great but too sad. that was one of my favourites though, his emotions were great there. i thought daniel henney would have some small part as the boyfriend but he seems to be getting even more mysterious but one thing's for sure in the show, he definitely loves our heroine. that is so sweet so it's gonna be a little sad when jinni(our heroine has to choose between them) both our guys are great also, so much adventure with great scenes, i'm kinda jealous hehe.
and right now near the halfway mark, seems like jiwoo(rain) is beginning to realise his feelings. man, i can't wait for the updates now. pity i can't understand korean sheesh oh well all i can do is wait. i hope you guys are enjoying this as much as i am.
i'm adding this a few days later. finally got to see episodes 8 and 9 and boy the cliffhanger is killing me!!! what happens next??? i hope it's uploaded fast.

Fugitive Plan B/Runaway Plan B (korean drama)

ok i've been waiting to watch this for a long time and have always been checking online and all, and recently i saw trailers on the tv so i knew that they'd be showing it soon. but unfortunately because of timing and all, i am not able to catch it and had completely forgotten about it until my sis told me that they're showing a really great drama starring rain. and i was like what!!!!
after searching some time on the net for episodes with english subs, i finally found one on dramacrazy. so far, i've watched just the first episode but that's making me want to watch the rest. which i hope will be uploaded as soon as possible. right now, it's until the 6th episode.
there is a lot of action here, the actors/actresses are great, eye-candy and romanceee is slowly burning. right now, the main mystery for me seems to be the female lead, who is she actually? and what importance does she have that people are trying to kill her? hmm.....
well i'll be reviewing this after this show is over and i've watched everything. and i'm not lazy of course. that's the main thing.:P hope you guys like this new show.

Personal Taste/Preference (korean drama)Finished!

well after putting in long hours, the show is finally complete and there's a little sadness in me that the show is over. this did not bore me as most korean dramas do, as most korean dramas tend to have too much...drama i guess and that's a little too much for my heart hehehe it's been a long time since i've felt this way about a show; where i would want to watch it immediately after i open up my internet. and i was not disappointed for sure. jin ho(male lead) was so sweet, sweeter than chocolate. and he's so in love with kae in(female lead). and i especially love it when the guy is crazy about the girl. hehehe he did everything for her sighhh ^_^
there were some really funny moments, especially with some bloopers in some episodes. i just wish they had bloopers at the end of every episode. oh well. at the same time, there were serious and aww moments too and near the end, i even had a little tear jerker moment personally for a while. my heart ached basically. the emotions the cast were able to dredge up in me, man they did a fantastic job.
i watched this on youtube, so i read some of the comments too and really, there were so many nasty comments at some characters; not the real ones of course, just the roles they were doing. it just shows how well they were able to portray them. i don't think you'll be disappointed with this show and also, the eye candy also helps:P both for the males and females hehe well hope you enjoy the show like i did.

Personal Taste/Preference (korean drama)

I decided to watch this show when i first saw the trailers on tv, and it looked funny. and recently, i had been in the mood for some comedy and romance. and now, i'm halfway through the show and so far, i haven't been disappointed yet. it's still keeping my interest.
kae in is very trusting even though she keeps getting betrayed. jin ho is a stickler for cleanliness but he also has a talent for figuring out women's feelings. so he pretends to be gay in order to rent a room in her house for his work which was built by a famous architect who is kae in's father. how will kae in react when she finds out her room mate is not gay at all and has instead, fallen in love with her.
initially, i had thought this show to be comedy and romance all the way but halfway through, where i am right now, it seems to get a more serious note while being entertaining at the same time. there is a twist that i wasn't expecting at all and i'm sure if you watch this, you'd be surprised too. i like the serious twist as it somehow tackles one of the problems that some people face everyday. of course, the comedy is a plus. i'm enjoying the chemistry between the two characters and all the cast seem to be doing very well, as i am actually able to really dislike some characters and yet, not really hate them too. you might want to give this a try, i'm sure you will enjoy it.
i watched this on youtube as mysoju gave me some problems for a while, well more my computer's fault i think. it's also complete and online, hope you enjoy.

Hi My Sweetheart (taiwanese drama)

i thought i had written about this series but when i came in to check if there were any posts to be edited, it seemed that i hadn't done any on this one. it's been quite long since i last watched this series.
xue hai was an innocent when he first arrived in hangzhou. he fell in love when his schoolmate bao zhu saved him from bullying. but due to a misunderstanding, they lost contact with each other. thinking that she dumped him, he transformed himself into a hunk and became a playboy who didn't believe in love anymore.
well, i remember being really amused by this show. also, at the same time, i felt irritated because of the many misunderstandings between our leads sigh and how long it took for them to get back together again. but i did complete the show. it's really funny and definitely will make you go aww at many parts. i also felt really sad for the guy who had a thing for baozhu for so long. well it was entertaining for me, hope it is for you too.

Chinese Paladin 3 (mainland drama)

Although chinese paladin was actually made earlier, the story for chinese paladin 3 is the prequel. the story happened years (don't know how many though) before chinese paladin, it's said.

jing tian, a mischievous pawnshop assistant crosses path with the spoiled and sassy tang xue jian. xu chang jing, the eldest disciple of mt shu sect, aids them when they encounter danger. meanwhile, chonglou, the demon lord, breaks into mt shu's suo yao pagoda to retrieve a magical sword and passes it to jing tian, saying it belonged to the latter in his past life, and forces him to battle. the 5 elders of mt shu call upon jing tian and chang jing to attain 5 mystical pearls and to seal up suo yao pagoda and to destroy a powerful evil force so as to save the world from destruction. together with xue jian, they set off to accomplish their mission. on the way, they overcome various obstacles and must solve mysteries pertainin to their past.

well, if you're someone who prefers realistic shows, then this is not for you!! this show is full of fantasy, supernatural stuff with adventure, comedy, history, romance. basically almost all the genres except for reality i guess:P

personally, i think the 2 chinese paladins both have their own uniqueness. both are enjoyable in their own way. the only thing i don't like is that it's tragic. sad shows are so not for me, but still, i braved my fears and continued watching. what i really liked about chinese paladin 3 was the way the story flowed. it wasn't as confusing as some i have actually watched. not only that, the love stories that were in it were so touching. they really made me reflect on the word love. for a while anyway:P the cast was brilliant in my opinion. everyone was up to par and definitely helped the show too since i'm not one who usually watches shows like these too, unless of course, there are great, eye candy actors/actresses. in this case it was everyone, but especially hu ge who played jing tian and yang mi who played xue jian. loved them. also loved wallace huo who played chang jing.
oh well, enough ramblings, those who have a vivid open imaginatio, and don't mind all those what some call 'fake stuff' then you might want to catch this show. it makes you laugh that's for sure. if you're a reality buff, then you can give this a miss, as there's nothing realistic about this, unless you want to count the moral you can get from this show. you can find this on mysoju but i watched it on youtube. it was great. i think some links were missing on mysoju, that's why. well, enjoy!!!

Bones season 5 (eng series)

Finally!!! After months of searching, i was able to find (with some tough luck) all the episodes of season 5 which is tough, since most of the videos are on megavideo on which i can't watch much. >< but i finally found some sites that do have them. they're and smotri. both of them have bones 5 and if one doesn't have it, the other usually does. i hope this has made things easier for some of you who are like me.
well with season 4's cliffhanger, i was really looking forward to season 5 and now it has left me wanting for even more -_- there were some episodes that really touched me this season too. but i think the best for me so far has been season 4 finale hehehehehe well, maybe partly because it has brennan and booth together in that episode although it's just a dream. but another reason is that it was soo refreshing to see all our lab 'squints' and their friends in different roles than what we usually see them in.
well, enough of this, i think i've said lots in my other bones post too...i think?? anyway, hope you all enjoy the latest season, 5 and i hope this has made your search easier. i was a little too lazy to post links to the site. sorry about that. and if you're a fan of this great series like i am, then you might be interested in their dvd.

Ohitorisama (japanese drama)

This is a love story, more or less, of two people with age gap of 10 years between them. of course, what's interesting is that our hero is younger than our heroine and they're teachers, which i seem to understand is like forbidden. what the title means is, (also from my understanding) a perfect person, one who can do anything. or to quote directly the synopsis written, it means 'one person'. this synopsis is from mysoju itself, since i'm too lazy to write more now.
33-year-old Akiyama Satomi is a history teacher at the prestigious all-girls high school she once attended. She has earned the nickname "ohitorisama" (meaning "one person") for her perfectionism and capability to handle any work by herself. At the same time, the name also refers to her lack of romance. One day, a young man named Shinichi arrives at the school as a temporary instructor. He's ten years younger than Satomi, has only worked part-time jobs, and has neither money nor status. Although the other female teachers and students find him cute, he is completely not Satomi's type... or is he? Will love blossom between this unlikely pair?
well, seems interesting doesn't it? initially, i passed it a number of times as i didn't think i'd enjoy it much. i'm not into much drama, and sad stuff happening even though it's reality. i like dreams and happy stuff ehehe which is rarely found in reality of course. but once i started watching, i really enjoyed it. our heroine really made me root for her and there was a charm about her. as i kept watching her, she seemed to become even prettier if you know what i mean. our hero initially made me think that he was a weak boy and uninterested in life and all. but his character began to grow during the series and that was what's really good about it. he became better. their respective roles really suited them i felt. they portrayed themselves really well it was so believable that i kept getting worried about how it would turn out once everyone knew about them and all. of course, there were some really funny moments that made me chuckle too. overall i enjoyed it tremendously. hope you do too

King of Thorns (manga)

This is actually quite good. i had been skipping it before as the art was so-so personally in my opinion. but there are times where it was good. but the story, although confusing was good. such imagination and flair for drawing, kudos to them.
Two twins, Kasumi and her sister, Shizuku, were infected with the medusa virus, which slowly turns the victim to stone. but only kasumi was selected to go into a frozen state with 159 others until a cure was found. in the undetermined future, kasumi and the others awaken to a world with   cnvnmbvvvnviolent monsters. as they struggle to stay alive in the treacherous world, kasumi resolves to find her twin sister but she needs all the help she can get.
there is some light gore(not much) and some hints of romance although it's very little. but there's tons of actions and lots of questions to answer. it definitely keeps you on your toes, trying to figure out just what in hell is going on. the chapters are not so long that you'll get bored also. it ends at chapter 37. it was an okay ending i feel. of course, if there were maybe a little more on the romance part in the end, i'd have been even more satisfied, but it's not a disappointment too. i hope you guys enjoy this. it's more of a survival type of series similar to battle royale, though the latter was way better. it pulled at your heart strings.

Couple or Trouble (korean drama)

I've kept this series on hold because i thought it was a love triangle and wasn't that interested in watching it. But after i saw some episodes on tv, i decided to give it a go. This show is hilarious! totally! It made me laugh till my sides ached.
Jo Anna is our rude, high class, american bred heiress who is never satisfied with things. She is a controlling wife to her already cowardly husband, Billy. When her yatch needs repairs, she hires the local handyman, Jang Chul Soo, but after a heated spat over her dissatisfaction and non payment, she pushes him overboard and throws his tools along with him. However she herself is pitched overboard after a quarrel with Billy and falls victim to amnesia. And so our story begins.
Kudos to all the cast who did such wonderful acting. The main two leads were superb as were the supporting cast too. i didn't skip any episodes at all as the show kept me on hook, making me wonder when their feelings would be known, and how it was going to end and all. 'Anna' did really well, being the rich, stuck up and proud heiress. Jang Chul Soo's expressions, when he was irritated with anna, was priceless. that was one of the highlights of the show. Billy's acting was great too. His expressions, like Chul Soo's was amazing. i bet that they had lots of ngs too hehe( no good takes) :P anyway i watched this all on youtube although you can find it on mysoju too. it's complete so i hope you all enjoy it.

Twilight (eng movie)

After so long, i've watched an english movie again online. there was all the hype on this movie and though i was interested in things like vampires and supernatural stuff, i didn't really feel like watching this movie then. but i suddenly got the urge to watch it yesterday. don't ask me why. i just felt like it and i did and i did not regret it.
this is more about the love story between edward, our hot vampire, and bella, our loner ordinary girl. bella has just moved to forks, and is intrigued by edward. due to some events, she finds out his secret but it's already too late for her as she's head over heels in love with him just as edward is for her. but their forbidden love is about to face trouble.
actually, personally, i enjoyed the feelings and intensity between the two leads. they portrayed the emotions really well. the supporting cast were really good too. the only thing was that the plot was not much. it was only concentrating on their feelings and the disapproval of families and all. the enemies were not many. but i guess, this is just because there are more sequels to come. and also, i enjoy having some action together with the romance.
but i did enjoy it even though the action was not as much as i would have liked. also, looking at the sequel, twilight;the new moon, there seems to be more action, a lot more than the prequel. but edward seems to take more of a back seat here giving the spotlight to jacob, our werewolf, bella's friend and one who has a crush on her. still it seems exciting.
this is a romantic movie with the cast acting really well especially our two leads. the romantic in me was like gushing when edward saw her. so sweet and cute hehehe anyway, too much rambling starting. you can find this on youtube, but i watched it on wiiki/viiki (forgot spelling) ehehe cos they have english subtitles there. it makes it so much easier to understand. it's all complete and online so enjoy people.

Kotaro Makaritoru (manga)

This is one old manga that i'll never get tired of. seriously. it has everything that i could want for in a manga, maybe a little too much. action, humor, romance, great illustrations(albeit old fashioned) yum yum, the ingredients needed for mangas that i like.
Kotaro Shindo- your average perverted high school boy who lacks common sense and any inhibitions whatsoever. but there's just one thing. he's a fighting genius, a karate expert descended from a long line of ninjas. he's always getting into trouble with school officials and peeping at girls or trying to steal their panties especially Mayumi's, his childhood friend. he's protective of 3 things-his reallly long hair, his panty collection and Mayumi. This story is about his adventures.
There is some pervertness in this story, some ecchi, so some of you might be put off. but that's also what makes this story so original. the drawing, though not as good as the ones nowadays, but personally, i loved the drawings. i think it's considered good in earlier times when it just came out.
the story is quite comedic initially but as the series progresses, it gets serious. the only thing that i am not satisfied with is that it's not completeeee!!! i mean, the story has been finished by the mangaka if i'm not wrong. it's just that it hasn't been scanned online completely. same goes for its sequels, shin kotaro makaritoru and kotaro makaritoru l. i'm sooo hoping that it will get scanlated but seems like that will just remain a dream. well i read this on mangafox so you guys might wanna read it too if you have the time. i have repeated this i don't know how many times already now. that's how much i liked this manga. oh i'm just praying for some kind soul to complete the whole series. enjoy

Akaku Saku Koe (manga)

This is a manga where the art is just average in my opinion. I mean i've seen more handsome guys and pretty gals in manga. but still, this one did manage to keep up my interest. don't really know why though. hmm... maybe cos it has genres that i like such as mystery, romance, supernatural etc etc
A high school boy with such a beautiful voice, so beautiful that he can make anyone do anything just by saying something, that is Karashima. Due to this dangerous ability, he distances himself from everything. That is until he finds himself involved in criminal investigations which he can help solve and a girl named Kokubu who seems to be in love with him.
It's a short manga with only 14 chapters including 2 extras. but the feelings are quite deep. it was quite refreshing to see the girl chasing after the guy rather than vice versa. and it talks about the girl's feelings which i feel is so real. it also helps that this has action too. it wasn't like one of my favourites like 'from far away' but it helped to pass my time. ... did tht sound a little too harsh?? ehehe well this is complete on onemanga and mangafox so enjoy guys

Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na (hindi movie)

I don't think i'll get tired of this movie. I admit it's a little cliched but it happens. There could have been some improvements in some areas of acting but there were some moments which really rocked for me. It's a simple story but friendship rocks here.
This movie is about two best friends, Jai and Aditi, and their friendship. It shows how close they are and yet, not even an inkling of romantic feelings between them initially. And so, the story progresses. ^_^
I really liked Emran Khan's acting here. It was his first film i think, and he did well. It also helps that he's really good looking ehehe And Aditi, (sorry i forgot her name><") is natural with her role too. The role really suited her. There were times that I felt that she overdid a little but not much. I really enjoyed how close the two leads were. They acted so well being platonic friends that it looked natural. I watched this movie on youtube and they have really good quality there. Hope you guys enjoy it.

Finally Back from my Short Holiday

I know that there's no viewers literally hehe that's why i can write openly here. it's kind of like my journal now but mostly of what i watched and liked and so on. I couldn't come online while on holiday due to circumstances but am finally able to now. Although i'm not that active and always lazy, i will continue to write about what i've watched and so on when i feel like it. There are tons that i've watched before my holiday but just been too lazy to write about it. hehe
well hope i see this site sooon again ehehe
