A Man Called God (korean drama)

Michael King vows to revenge his parents' death. He believes that he can use his power as head of an underground drug kingpin to punish those who hurt him. However, his beliefs are shaken when he falls in love with a reporter named Jin Bo Bae.
i definitely swooned and became a fangirl of song il gook in this show here. i'm seeing him in a totally different light in this drama. he's totally different from his usual historical dramas or other family dramas. he's hot!!! personified!!!
not to mention, this was one of my favourite genres for a drama; action, suspense and romance. what not to love!!! i guess there are many who feel the opposite of me and actually didn't like this drama but to each his/her own. i loved michael king, jin bo bae, vivian, even hwang woo hyun, jang ho and jang mi. if you want to know who they are, go and watch the series ;p
i'm actually satisfied with the end although i wanted more. well í'm more of a romantic than i initially thought i was heheehe if you are into action and romance, with some revenge in it, then this drama is for you. for those who have similar taste buds like mine, after looking through my drama lists here, then i definitely recommend this drama to you. enjoy!!!

Legend of Hyang Dan (korean drama)

The drama is a twist to the well known classic story of The Legend of Chun Hyang. The big question revolving around this plot is what if the one that Lee Mong Ryong loves is not Chun Hyang but Hyang Dan? The drama will deliver a refreshing new comedy style.
this was definitely refreshing. it's different from delightful girl chun yang. it's a drama that'll make you smile but unfortunately, it's only 2 episodes. but despite that, i really enjoyed it. i was wondering how they'd complete this in 2 episodes and am glad to say that i enjoyed every 2 episodes. if you are the type who wants more of reality, then i suggest you skip this as it's not much of that. it's just a change from the depressing reality although there is the topic of class and status here too. another good thing is i found the complete episodes on youtube, full with english subtitles. enjoy!!!

Rich Man Poor Woman (japanese drama)

Oguri Shun plays Hyuga Toru, an affluent man whose personality is on the contrary, speckled with flaws. A CEO of an IT firm who is published on Forbes as a billionaire, Toru attained his fortune through chance and pure luck. A woman who meets Toru and eventually becomes attracted to him is Sawaki Chihiro, played by Ishihara Satomi. Chihiro is a hardworking college student at Tokyo University who has prepared for her future as much as she possibly could through studies and obtaining licenses. Despite her efforts, she has yet to land a job. Upon meeting Toru, she begins to unravel a genuine pureness inside him and solitude resulting from such pureness, which eventually draws her closer to him. The two repeatedly conflict each other, but little by little learn about one another to grow and develop together.
Despite the worldwide recession and financial difficulties, there are people like Mark Zuckerberg who began work from merely an apartment room or a garage that end up growing to be companies generating over ten billion dollars revenues after merely 10 years or so, embracing their new found wealth by living the dream life. Whether it's a game or application software, Ecommerce, or other IT related firm, there are more than a few who rose in fame to such status in recent years. On the other hand, Japan's unemployment rate for new grads dropped to a record low and those who want to work are unable to, or their wishes to work at their company of choice is not granted.
A Cinderella story of the real world. Will the two be able to compromise their values and lifestyles to become a happy couple?
this is a fun to watch romantic comedy, it wasn't enough to fill the void left by gaksital but it definitely was enough to keep me occupied. it's also been long since i last watched a japanese drama so was in the mood for one and found a good one. oguri shun was especially good as that talented programmer, always on the computer.
one thing that i also liked was that it didn't just focus on comedy but also had moral values in it. you'll know and understand once you watch it and find out that hyuga toru can actually surprise you.
well the story's more or less all on the synopsis and you can find the complete episodes on epdrama or dramacrazy. below are some videos so enjoy!!!

Bridal Mask/Gaksital (korean drama)

Gaksital is a famous manhwa set in the 1930s, during the Japanese occupation. The hero, Lee Kang-to, is known as 'Gaksital' because he wears a mask to hide his face — one of those traditional play masks, specifically the rosy-cheeked one reserved for the female role, aka the bride. He's an unassuming young man in real life, but when he dons his superhero mask, he fights injustice and rights wrongs during one of the darkest periods of Korea's history.
i wasn't sure whether to watch this or not as it was a confirmed given that there was going to be much angst. and it didn't disappoint me in that area. there was enough angst to last me a lifetime. i'm going to be watching more light hearted dramas for a while now.
the story was so realistic, the osts are all so great, acting was fabulous. there were some really heart wrenching moments, sighh i'm writing this jus after i finished watching this, so i don't think i'm going to be able to say much.
only thing i can say is, this is a definite yes from me, i highly recommend it, it has everything from action to romance to comedy. you can just google every episode and find them online. i watched most of the episodes on epdrama and youtube. here are two of my favourite osts. enjoy!!!
