Smile Dong Hae/Smile Again (korean drama)

Dong Hae was raised in America by his beautiful but unmarried and mentally deficient mother, Anna Laker, who was adopted there. He goes to Korea for a short-track skating competition and brings his mother along in secret, arranging for her to be picked up at the airport by his girlfriend, Yoon Sae Wa, an ambitious TV announcer who harbours a secret disdain for Anna's disability. Dong Hae meets Bong Yi, a poor assistant chef, when Sae Wa prioritizes her job and sends her to meet Anna instead. After Sae Wa later betrays him, Dong Hae begins to search for his father, creating a new family and finding new romance along the way.
i don't usually do daily dramas, dramas that are way over 50 eps and onto more than 100 eps. and this drama had 159. 0_0" but i decided to watch it because the story seemed interesting and i had enjoyed ji chang wook in bachelor's vegetable store and so wanted to see more of him heehehe
and it was worth my time investing on 159 eps :D now i know why this drama had such good reviews. as we watch on, we'll find out the secrets earlier than the leads which would have been boring but the leads found out about them in unexpected ways. i was expecting them to find out a particular secret in a particular way but they found out differently which surprised me pleasantly. that helped me in finishing the drama
it also helped that the case were all so great, even the 'villains', of course, many have said that if u watch dailies, you'd basically be yelling and cursing at your poor tv until it was over. but as i watched it online, i didn't have to chew my nails blunt while waiting. everything was there and so, i could marathon it. forward when i got irritated (and believe me u get frustrated a lot) rewind it when i wanted to swoon hehehehe
liked the ending too, was satisfied with it, it didn't leave me longing for more, except of course for ji chang wook. and so, off i go to watch ancient chinese dramas now with hu ge(cos he looks like ji chang wook and i've seen his dramas before:P)
you can find this drama on dailymotion and also on gooddrama i think. but just google and you'll get all the links. enjoy!!!

Creating Destiny

Han Sang Eun emigrated to Australia with her family at a young age. Years later, she has completed her law studies in the United States and plans to marry her American boyfriend. Her dad, however, is strongly opposed to their union and has set his heart on her marrying Kim Yeo Joon, the son of his best friend. Sang Eun finds herself exiled to Korea, where she reluctantly teams up with the equally uninterested Yeo Joon to devise a plan that will allow them to avoid their impending marriage.
i enjoyed this drama. it did get a little slow in the middle for me but something just made me want to keep watching. maybe the cast who did a wonderful job with their respective roles. i usually don't watch family type of dramas but this pulled me in. what was even nicer was the chemisty the two leads had and trust in each other especially han sang eun. it had a good moral of the story also, with family and all. a nice watch. i forgot where but i think i watched this mainly on dailymotion but it's uploaded on epdrama and gooddrama too i think. enjoy!

Bachelor's Vegetable Store (korean drama)

The true story of a young man who turned a tiny vegetable store into a nationwide franchise and the obstacles he faces.

there have been mixed reviews of this show saying it didn't really stay true to the title but for me, although there was a lot of melodrama, it also had its good points. for me, a show is a success if it doesn't make me quit halfway and not watch again. we might have our moods as to when we want to watch a specific genre and it's all about our own interests and this show, overall, was good for me.

of course, no drama is perfect. they have their own flaws but if we just take it and enjoy it, then it becomes enjoyable and that was what happened for me with this drama. it was a success for me because despite the melodrama, it made me want to continue and see the happy times between our leads, happy times for our bachelors and basically happy times. who wouldn't want a happy ever after. it also made me wonder how it was going to wrap up the story and because of this, the drama was a success. it made me continue watching till the end and although the ending could have been better, i was still satisfied nonetheless.

i'll only recommend this if you can endure melodramas, sadness and all and go for the happy times. it took quite a while in coming, that's my only complaint. other than that, nothin so enjoy!!!
