Amazing drama, so amazing that i felt myself having withdrawal symptoms initially. The acting was great, done really well by the cast, which was a plus point in itself, not to mention that it had quite a lot of my favorite genres like fantasy and romance. Well, maybe some action would have been nice.
Both the main leads made it feel like they were real. In fact, do min joon felt too real. It's not often that you feel that way with a character, really feel for them. Chun song yi was very real as well. Both actors managed to portray their characters really well. It's hard to find a drama with an ending that usually satisfies me, but this one did. In fact, I felt how I would usually feel after having a hearty and delicious meal; full and satiated :P Overall, a definite recommend from me. Enjoy the song. Love the tune. It's my favorite ost in this drama. Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01513685411315643032noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3134728960254429088.post-12836273301748730362014-02-17T11:01:00.000+08:002014-02-17T11:01:04.147+08:00Good Doctor (korean drama)A medical drama about a man with autistic disorder, who has mentality of 10-year-old, overcomes bias and discrimination by the society and becomes a pediatrician by utilizing his exceptional abilities that the illness brings.

A good medical drama that kept me hooked. It was a little different from what I enjoy. This contains more life experiences and reality but this still got me enjoying the series and what made it even better was the wonderful casting and acting by all the actors. Everyone managed to carve themselves a nice little spot in my heart. sigh Joo won made his character so real with his fabulous acting; it really felt as if he was autistic. It must have been tough maintaining that posture and the little details.

The story was written really nicely and flowed well although it might have felt a little rushed towards the end but nothing so much that made you feel like it was off. The ending was done well and I was satisfied by it. All in all, if you're in the mood to watch something medical and life related, I'd recommend this. Considering its genre, you'd be surprised at how much it makes you laugh too. Enjoy!!!
One day, Reiji is killed. It is unknown whether his research on wormhole theories caused his death or not. His fiancée Ando Asahi is a capable career woman working at a large IT company. After Reiji's death, somebody is trying to kill her. Lloyd, who looks exactly like Reiji, suddenly appears in front of her. Lloyd came from the year 2113. His mission is to protect Asahi from any harm. Without Asahi's knowledge, Lloyd fights to protect her. Lloyd doesn't know what "love" is and doesn't understand human anger or sadness. At first, Asahi doesn't like Lloyd, but slowly her feelings start to change.

Takuya Kimura was amazing. He was so credible it felt like he was a robot. He managed to play dual roles perfectly and we could see which one was which. The story is actually quite simple, but the main thing about this is the values which they teach us here. There's so much to learn. Enjoyed the show tons, you enjoy it too.

After watching the first two seasons of Garo, truthfully I missed them while watching this. There's not much link to the first 2 seasons, but hopefully, the new season will link them. But despite it all, the 3rd season was fresh and different although I felt the action was better for the previous 2, although it's understandable since the garo in season 3 is young and inexperienced.

Loved all the cast, they did a wonderful job but have to admit, I had to forward a little at times as it got a little boring for me but all in all, a good season. But I still miss the cast for the first 2 seasonsss:(
Unlike the previous series, several episodes focus solely on Rei.
Subplots to the series concern Kouga's slow-boiling romantic relationship with Kaoru who is trying to get her first picture book published while Kouga tries to keep his seal a secret from her, Rei/Zero having also been marked with the seal and a possible resurgence in his friendly rivalry with Kouga, and the identity of the series antagonist, a red-masked Makai Priest who "seals" Kouga and Rei as part of his effort to destroy all of the Makai Knights and make the Priests dominant again.
Also introduced is the Makai Senate, which heads the Makai order and therefore over-rules the Watchdogs shown in the previous series. The senate includes Grace, a high ranking Makai Priestess and gives out orders in place of the Watchdogs and Kouga's new partner Reo Fudō, a kind hearted Makai Priest and creator of the Gouryu previously seen in the film Red Requiem. Reo is also seen to be troubled by memories of a woman (known as Mio) from his past, whom Kaoru reminds him of.

Another amazing series, this one focuses more on the romance aspect of kouga and kaoru. This second series doesn't let down its prequel. it's still badass as ever, with amazing action and some romance now. It makes you feel one with the cast, makes you fond of them. Do note that there are movies in between so if you want to watch these, then wiki it up to watch it accordingly so you do not miss out on anything. Enjoy!!!
In his quest to purge them, he encounters a young girl named Kaoru whom he saves from a Horror, but learns that she is stained with its demonic blood. As a rule, those that have been stained by the blood of a Horror shall be cut down, or else they will die painfully in approximately 100 days. Kouga spares Kaoru and tries to find a way to purify her before her remaining time expires. Thus, the series focuses on Kouga's developing relationship with Kaoru and his stand in protecting humanity in accordance with the wishes of his father, the previous Garo. In the process, encountering another Makai Knight named Rei Suzumura who eventually becomes his ally, Kouga confronts his father's former disciple who is also the cause of a recent string of Horror attacks in preparation of a more sinister advent of the Horrors' originator, Messiah.

This isn't your typical power rangers series or kamen rider series. If you loved either but have outgrown them, then this is the mature version. I'm not really a fan of these types of series, but this show was so amazing that I watched all its seasons and movies. hehehe I will blog about its second and third season later.

Some might not like the idea of weak girls or damsels in distress but I don't know. In here, I wasn't averse to the idea. It actually went well with the story and it helped that the actress's character was actually likeable. The best was the action. It was amazing, superb, fabulous, no words can describe it. and the effects were really well done too. Really looked so real. But as I mentioned earlier, it is for mature audiences as there is some nudity and violence. But overall, a series I would recommend. Here's my favourite tune in Garo. Enjoy!!!
As story unfolds, secrets began to reveal.

when looking at reviews for this drama, I didn't see many good reviews. only a few. but still, despite what others said, I had always been attracted to the lead actors and actresses and as I was also in the mood for something melo, I decided to watch it.

well, truthfully, yes, I had to forward quite a bit of the first 2 eps cos it was a little boring for me. I mean despite forwarding them, I didn't really miss out on the story. but as the drama went on, my forwarding became slow and I started to give it my full concentration and by the end, I was sighing over the end of another good show.

the cast was fabulous for me, everyone had their own special characteristics. some might disagree with me on this, but to each his/her own. people might say that hwang jung eum's role was too goody shows and candy type and all, but for me, I felt that there still were people like that in the world, although rare. min hyuk was a joy for me to watch with his heart on his sleeves. ahn do hoon's thought was so complicated and yet so simple at the same time. the actor portrayed him so well, you felt angry at him and yet at the same, sympathised with him too. shin se yon made me want to hate her, but the little vulnerabilities shown in front of do hoon, or when minhyuk said or did something, made me feel sympathy for her as well. kudos to the actress. (she's the other actress in I hear your voice, by the way) the most memorable scene for me on the show was when yoo jeong(hwang jung eum) found out her son was alive and the event around that arc. it was such wonderful acting there, had to catch hold of my breath a few times. sigh

all in all, this was a wonderful watch for me, although I hav to admit, I was mentally stressed as well watching this drama. so much happening to everyone, putting myself in their shoes wore me out. I watched this on gooddrama although you can find it on epdrama as well. enjoy!!!
Together they will team up to to find the justice in the courtroom and solve the toughest cases with less than 1% chance of winning.

After some gap due to reasons unknown :p I finally managed to do a marathon of this drama. I was cut off brutally halfway through the drama due to those unknown reasons, but finally managed to set my heart at ease.

This was a drama that I had soooo wanted to complete watching as its genres were some of my favourites. I was worried that it might not do well, but my worries were unfounded and I wasn't disappointed. I loved the ending, loved the show, loved the cast, loved it period. :) sigh it's gonna take some time to find a drama like this again for me. this is a definite recommend from me. Enjoy it!!!
After Sae Wa later betrays him, Dong Hae begins to search for his father, creating a new family and finding new romance along the way.
i don't usually do daily dramas, dramas that are way over 50 eps and onto more than 100 eps. and this drama had 159. 0_0" but i decided to watch it because the story seemed interesting and i had enjoyed ji chang wook in bachelor's vegetable store and so wanted to see more of him heehehe
and it was worth my time investing on 159 eps :D now i know why this drama had such good reviews. as we watch on, we'll find out the secrets earlier than the leads which would have been boring but the leads found out about them in unexpected ways. i was expecting them to find out a particular secret in a particular way but they found out differently which surprised me pleasantly. that helped me in finishing the drama
it also helped that the case were all so great, even the 'villains', of course, many have said that if u watch dailies, you'd basically be yelling and cursing at your poor tv until it was over. but as i watched it online, i didn't have to chew my nails blunt while waiting. everything was there and so, i could marathon it. forward when i got irritated (and believe me u get frustrated a lot) rewind it when i wanted to swoon hehehehe
liked the ending too, was satisfied with it, it didn't leave me longing for more, except of course for ji chang wook. and so, off i go to watch ancient chinese dramas now with hu ge(cos he looks like ji chang wook and i've seen his dramas before:P)
you can find this drama on dailymotion and also on gooddrama i think. but just google and you'll get all the links. enjoy!!!
Years later, she has completed her law studies in the United States and plans to marry her American boyfriend. Her dad, however, is strongly opposed to their union and has set his heart on her marrying Kim Yeo Joon, the son of his best friend. Sang Eun finds herself exiled to Korea, where she reluctantly teams up with the equally uninterested Yeo Joon to devise a plan that will allow them to avoid their impending marriage.
i enjoyed this drama. it did get a little slow in the middle for me but something just made me want to keep watching. maybe the cast who did a wonderful job with their respective roles. i usually don't watch family type of dramas but this pulled me in. what was even nicer was the chemisty the two leads had and trust in each other especially han sang eun. it had a good moral of the story also, with family and all. a nice watch. i forgot where but i think i watched this mainly on dailymotion but it's uploaded on epdrama and gooddrama too i think. enjoy!

there have been mixed reviews of this show saying it didn't really stay true to the title but for me, although there was a lot of melodrama, it also had its good points. for me, a show is a success if it doesn't make me quit halfway and not watch again. we might have our moods as to when we want to watch a specific genre and it's all about our own interests and this show, overall, was good for me.

of course, no drama is perfect. they have their own flaws but if we just take it and enjoy it, then it becomes enjoyable and that was what happened for me with this drama. it was a success for me because despite the melodrama, it made me want to continue and see the happy times between our leads, happy times for our bachelors and basically happy times. who wouldn't want a happy ever after. it also made me wonder how it was going to wrap up the story and because of this, the drama was a success. it made me continue watching till the end and although the ending could have been better, i was still satisfied nonetheless.

i'll only recommend this if you can endure melodramas, sadness and all and go for the happy times. it took quite a while in coming, that's my only complaint. other than that, nothin so enjoy!!!
She decides to quit her job at a travel agency and live her life to the fullest.
Wonderful! Wonderful! Wonderful! Simply wonderful! A drama not just about death but also about living. it's amazing how talented people are, to be able to act so realistically that we, the ones who are watching, feel the emotions too.
and did this show bring out some amazing emotions. it wasn't what i expected it to be at all, had dreaded the sadness it would bring and didn't want to watch it initially. but then, the two main leads pulled me in, tempting me.
what i really also enjoyed, besides the acting, was how the story flowed naturally. and how the minor characters brought out feelings in us. but the best of all, had to be the ending. don't be fooled. the story might seem that way and in a way, it's true that it is going to be sad, but they somehow turn it around to give such a positive feeling and it was surprisingly sweet and angst free ending. simply loved it. this show made me shed tears and laugh when i was alone. lee dong wook, kim sun ah, fighting!!! i watched this on epdrama but you can also find it on gooddrama as well. highly recommended!!! enjoy!
Her straightforward manner of handling her professional life is in contrast with her love life, which is marred by her relationship with a married man. This becomes even more entangled when she meets Lee Sang Shik, the chief of NICU, and her long-time friend Wang Jae Suk also shows his interest.
This drama, as mentioned above, shows how it is in the ob-gyn department. I thought i had written about this earlier, but i can't seem to find it so i mustn't have written it. The different stories shown here, all with their own problems and situations, were so touching and heart rending.
I was awed by the miracles shown and also had my heart wrenched by the sadness and tough choices some had to make.
The characters were all so amazing and portrayed their roles fabulously. Seo Hye Young, especially, is such a strong woman and lady. Loved how her relationship with everyone, especially lee sang shik, progressed throughout the story. i only wished that i could have gotten to see more but the ending was satisfying nonetheless. a definite recommend from me. here's a short ost of the drama which i loved. enjoy!!!
When Lee Haru departs for Russia, they both decide that when they meet again they'll become a couple.

Fast-foward several years, and Dong-Ha, now a feared deliquent, is excited to find out Lee-Haru is returning to his school. Expecting to meet a gorgeous, skinny ballerina, he is rather dismayed to find out Haru hasn't exactly turned out the way he expected.

It's been a long time since i last reviewed a manga or manhwa in this case. The art is ok, what we usually see of manhwas but it's the story that caught my attention. One can really make something with this kind of storyline and so i was interested to read it. It also helped that it was a short manhwa, 12 chapters to be exact as I wasn't in the mood for anything long.

It's a romantic comedy, and a light fluffy read. hehehe the characters are all so cute, even our 2 male leads. hehe both of them have their own charming points that you can't help rooting for both of them instead of just one. i'd say give this manga a go if you're in the mood for something light hearted and fun. enjoy!!!
i was wondering when this drama finished, whether i liked it or not. the feeling was conflicting. but in the end, despite its flaws, my like won over. i loved how our male lead was so true to our females for so long. i would have preferred a better ending, but if i were to think about it logically, i guess that was good. but mostly, i enjoyed the genre, which was historical and romance with action. loved the ost by the way, enjoy!
Lee Shin Young (Park Jin Hee), Jung Da Jung (Uhm Ji Won) and Kim Boo Ki (Wang Bit Na) are three women in their 30s whose romantic relationships have faltered due to their career ambitions, but find themselves given a chance to make a fresh start.
loved it! loved it! loved it! i enjoyed it so much it was a marathon for me, watching this. this doesn't usually happen with other dramas. not only did i enjoy their new relationships with the new guys in their lives, i also loved the friendship the three of them had. this drama showed 3 women with 3 perspectives of their thoughts and none are right or wrong. there's a lot of life lessons to be learned here not just for women but everyone.
there were so many cute and fluffy moments, and yet at the same time, so many moments that made you think, made you feel the tough decisions they had to make and you really felt for them so much that at times, you were in their shoes. it didn't help that the cast were all such fabulous actors. hehehhe they were all wonderful. what also really made me like this drama was that although there were revelations that made you cringe when you thought about when they'd be revealed, but when they were revealed, it was done so gently you didn't feel embarassed or anything, instead i felt gratitude to the writers for how they brought about the revelations. hehhe you can find this on youtube or epdrama. enjoy!!!
It will also tell the story about the process of making a true king.
Yoo Eun Soo (Kim Hee Sun) is a 33-year old plastic surgeon in the year 2012. She was originally a general surgeon, but quickly found that it was an overworked, under-paid profession and jumped ship to plastic surgery. Her dream is to someday open her own practice. But one day, Choi Young (Lee Min Ho) kidnaps her and takes her back to the Goryeo era because needing her medical skills. Their love story spans centuries but also warring beliefs. He gave up on love to be an unflinching warrior.
this was one drama that kept me waiting for so long to be completed. loved the leads and the cast overall. one might either like this or not, i've read many with negative comments as well but for me, it's all positive. although there might be some flaws, (which drama doesn't?) i'm willing to overlook as they have all my favourite genres in one. hehehe and of course, with the leads, who wouldn't.
they had great chemistry and would have loved a little more from the ending. but was still happy nevertheless. at least, it didn't leave me unsatisfied. i loved gi cheol as well, loved how he went from the crazy badass villain to well...crazy sad villain i guess. he was awesome in his acting and at times, when he was with eun soo, it even made me think, was he starting to like her because he was curious? all in all, i'd definitely recommend this drama, you can view it on dramacrazy or epdrama online with eng subs. enjoy!!!
Loved it. Totally loved it. Loved the world there, it felt really real and that all this could happen. it didn't feel fake at all. i enjoyed the story, it kept us guessing what was going on, enjoyed the characters who grew as the series progressed, and also enjoyed the two gods. hehehehe it was emotional at times, really touching us. shin min ah and lee jun ki, love youuuu, they were fabulous. i watched it all on epdrama but you can find it on others as well. hope you enjoy this!!!
A few years later, Ja Yeong enters the royal palace to marry King Gojong. Mu Myeong still having feelings for Ja Yeong and in an attempt to get closer to her becomes her personal body guard. Ja Yeong, now as the Queen of Joseon, becomes involved in a power struggle with Russia and Japan who are attempting to colonize Korea. Furthermore, King Gojong's father (Cheon Ho-Jin), who wields true power in Joseon, works with the foreign interests which causes Ja Yeong to stand up to him and the foreign diplomats. The king's father then gives his implicit approval for the Japanese to assassinate Queen Je Yeong. Mu Myeong must now fend off these threats to protect the woman he loves.
Loved Mu Myeong! He surprised me with his character. Loved the pure love he had for Ja Yeong and his cuteness. Also loved Ja Yeong for being so strong and determined. The story was ok for me, the cast brought it out perfectly though. Despite the tragedy, (believe me, i really don't like tragedies) i still loved it, including the ending. The action scenes were especially amazing. It was just like watching a 3d video game fight, kind of like final fantasy if you know what i mean. rpg style. hehehe watched it on dramacrazy. enjoy!!!
(korean drama)Story of a man who considers money as the most important thing in life. He becomes involved in a strange conspiracy due to his obsession with money ...
i wasn't sure if i would be blogging about this series as i thought it was so-so. but the fact i'm blogging here means that i enjoyed something about it. the romance was a little late in blooming for me although there were hints early enough. but what really clinched the deal for me was the cast and their interpretation of the role, especially our main lead, ma in tak and his secretary ha in joo. loved them both. ehhehehhe
ma in tak, you'd hate him if you were working under him with all his rude sarcastic remarks. but i loved the way he emphasised his words, his way of talking. really was in tune with his character. the secretary too, loved the way she spoke, her reactions hehehe they were all soo comical.
the story was good for me as well. there might have been some flaws but as it's a drama, i didn't pay much mind. what's more important was for a rom-com, there was surprisingly a good moral story behind it, with family and all and some really sad heartbreaking moments. well i won't say much, just recommending it. you can watch it on youtube i think, with complete eng subs. enjoy!!!
He first clashes with but is later aided by Kang Kyung Hee, an attractive female detective who possesses excellent skill in martial arts and a strong sense of justice.
One thing amazing about this drama is the rare diseases they find. And they're real too. Not fake. It's amazing how the people are affected. Of course, this drama might not be for just anyone. It's a medical mystery. hehe
The terms used are also scientific so one might be a little confused although they do explain. But despite all these, what i really enjoyed was the characters here and how well they played their roles especially our lead hero, han jin woo. as the season progresses, he gets even better. i think i'd rewatch this even if it's just for him alone, oh and also detective kang kyung hee. loved her too hehehe
in fact, after watching this, i was so inspired to write about the rare diseases that really got stuck to my mind and i actually wrote one simple article. here's the link. http://sminut13.hubpages.com/_1jvz3d54a9baw/hub/Rare-Disease-Microcephaly
oh and one other thing. the lead actor here, ryu deok hwan, is also acting on 'Faith'. If you don't recognise him, (i didn't at first too until i read somewhere) he's the actor who plays king Gongmin. :D
if you enjoy mystery and medical dramas with really witty humor, and there's loads of that, then be sure to watch this. just google it and you'll find it, i think i watched it on dramacrazy. :) enjoy!!!
The big question revolving around this plot is what if the one that Lee Mong Ryong loves is not Chun Hyang but Hyang Dan? The drama will deliver a refreshing new comedy style.
this was definitely refreshing. it's different from delightful girl chun yang. it's a drama that'll make you smile but unfortunately, it's only 2 episodes. but despite that, i really enjoyed it. i was wondering how they'd complete this in 2 episodes and am glad to say that i enjoyed every 2 episodes. if you are the type who wants more of reality, then i suggest you skip this as it's not much of that. it's just a change from the depressing reality although there is the topic of class and status here too. another good thing is i found the complete episodes on youtube, full with english subtitles. enjoy!!!
A CEO of an IT firm who is published on Forbes as a billionaire, Toru attained his fortune through chance and pure luck. A woman who meets Toru and eventually becomes attracted to him is Sawaki Chihiro, played by Ishihara Satomi. Chihiro is a hardworking college student at Tokyo University who has prepared for her future as much as she possibly could through studies and obtaining licenses. Despite her efforts, she has yet to land a job. Upon meeting Toru, she begins to unravel a genuine pureness inside him and solitude resulting from such pureness, which eventually draws her closer to him. The two repeatedly conflict each other, but little by little learn about one another to grow and develop together.
Despite the worldwide recession and financial difficulties, there are people like Mark Zuckerberg who began work from merely an apartment room or a garage that end up growing to be companies generating over ten billion dollars revenues after merely 10 years or so, embracing their new found wealth by living the dream life. Whether it's a game or application software, Ecommerce, or other IT related firm, there are more than a few who rose in fame to such status in recent years. On the other hand, Japan's unemployment rate for new grads dropped to a record low and those who want to work are unable to, or their wishes to work at their company of choice is not granted.
A Cinderella story of the real world. Will the two be able to compromise their values and lifestyles to become a happy couple?
this is a fun to watch romantic comedy, it wasn't enough to fill the void left by gaksital but it definitely was enough to keep me occupied. it's also been long since i last watched a japanese drama so was in the mood for one and found a good one. oguri shun was especially good as that talented programmer, always on the computer.
one thing that i also liked was that it didn't just focus on comedy but also had moral values in it. you'll know and understand once you watch it and find out that hyuga toru can actually surprise you.
well the story's more or less all on the synopsis and you can find the complete episodes on epdrama or dramacrazy. below are some videos so enjoy!!!
The hero, Lee Kang-to, is known as 'Gaksital' because he wears a mask to hide his face — one of those traditional play masks, specifically the rosy-cheeked one reserved for the female role, aka the bride. He's an unassuming young man in real life, but when he dons his superhero mask, he fights injustice and rights wrongs during one of the darkest periods of Korea's history.
i wasn't sure whether to watch this or not as it was a confirmed given that there was going to be much angst. and it didn't disappoint me in that area. there was enough angst to last me a lifetime. i'm going to be watching more light hearted dramas for a while now.
the story was so realistic, the osts are all so great, acting was fabulous. there were some really heart wrenching moments, sighh i'm writing this jus after i finished watching this, so i don't think i'm going to be able to say much.
only thing i can say is, this is a definite yes from me, i highly recommend it, it has everything from action to romance to comedy. you can just google every episode and find them online. i watched most of the episodes on epdrama and youtube. here are two of my favourite osts. enjoy!!!
