King of Thorns (manga)

This is actually quite good. i had been skipping it before as the art was so-so personally in my opinion. but there are times where it was good. but the story, although confusing was good. such imagination and flair for drawing, kudos to them.
Two twins, Kasumi and her sister, Shizuku, were infected with the medusa virus, which slowly turns the victim to stone. but only kasumi was selected to go into a frozen state with 159 others until a cure was found. in the undetermined future, kasumi and the others awaken to a world with   cnvnmbvvvnviolent monsters. as they struggle to stay alive in the treacherous world, kasumi resolves to find her twin sister but she needs all the help she can get.
there is some light gore(not much) and some hints of romance although it's very little. but there's tons of actions and lots of questions to answer. it definitely keeps you on your toes, trying to figure out just what in hell is going on. the chapters are not so long that you'll get bored also. it ends at chapter 37. it was an okay ending i feel. of course, if there were maybe a little more on the romance part in the end, i'd have been even more satisfied, but it's not a disappointment too. i hope you guys enjoy this. it's more of a survival type of series similar to battle royale, though the latter was way better. it pulled at your heart strings.
