And he could abandon it just for the sake of In Sook. The story of Kim In Sook’s battle against all odds to rise to the top of JK Group with the help of the lawyer Han Ji Hoon, a man who has supported her since they were children.
Don't be mistaken by the title thinking it is a period drama with royalty or basically just royalty. it's not. it's actually more of a chaebol drama where it's about a reallly rich family who is very powerful. thus in that sense, they're known as royal family.
it's not often that i enjoy these types of dramas as they have a lot of backstabbing, misunderstandings, tragedy, betrayal, basically mainly negative stuff.
and yes this drama had its share of those as well. it made me wish that our hero knew what was going on and hope that he'd still support the heroine and all. i hoped so much for that part to be over that i at times, forwarded some scenes just to get the angst over with lol.
it was that nerve wrecking. hehe the main draw for me was of course our hero, han ji hoon(ji sung) who played a prosecutor fabulously. made me drool. you guys might recognise him from the drama swallow the sun.
despite all the angst and drama going on, i enjoyed this show. something about it kept me going and not stopping halfway through. although a part of me wished there was a more confirmed ending but with open endings, you can always dream your own happy ending hehe and that's what i'm doing. i just wished i could see it. anyway this drama is fully up on many sites of course, but i watched them mainly on epdrama and dramacrazy, enjoy

Set in ancient China, Zeng Jing is a skilled assassin who finds herself in possession of a mystical Buddhist monk's remains. She begins a quest to return the remains to its rightful resting place, and thus places herself in mortal danger because a team of assassins is in a deadly pursuit to possess the remains which holds an ancient power-wielding secret.
oh. my. god. i really have died and gone to heaven. this was one of the best movies i've ever seen. i don't know what else to say. just that, you have got to watch this if you love action. phew man. this movie stars michelle yeoh as the assassin who tries to lead a normal life but is unable to after saving her husband, jung woo sung(a moment to remember) and herself from a gang during a bank robbery, attracting the attention of her former assassin gang.
the small romances, the angst, the fights, are all awesome. i don't want to write too much lest i give it all away but i definitely recommend it. i finally found the movie on youtube after searching so hard for it. it's complete and with english subtitles. enjoy!!!

The Restless (korean movie)

In fictional ancient Korea, Yi-gwak is a demon hunter who lost his lover, Yon-hwa, and colleagues of demon hunters in the past. He enters the Midheaven, a transitory place for spirits, only to find the spirit of Yon-hwa who has forgotten about him. His deceased former mentor, Ban-chu, masterminds a demonic rebellion in Midheaven, wishing to invade the living world.
this movie stars kim tae hee(iris) as sohwa/yonhwa and jung woo sung(athena,a moment to remember) as yi gwak. this is such a romantic (historical at the same time) action movie, at the end my heart shattered againnnn at the open ending. sigh yigwak was so romantic, never forgetting his love. sighhhh i can only sigh and do nothing else, wishing it was happier.
the action was fabulous, all the fights made me drool, yes even the demons lol it was so cool hehehe i loved the plot. we don't see this type of plot much nowadays, such a simple and pure love, with so much action. he just protected her, even though she had already lost her memories, and she fell in love all over again.
you can watch this on youtube complete with english subtitles. enjoy!!!

City Hunter (korean drama)

‘City Hunter’ is an original script based on the world-famous novel by Japan’s Tsukasa Hojo. Since it became public that Korea would be the first remake of this story into a drama, ‘City Hunter’ has been receiving worldwide attention. ‘City Hunter’ has switched the setting from Tokyo 1980 to Seoul 2011, and according to the original story structure, the protagonist becomes a city hunter and his character develops while resolving gratifying cases.
this is one of the perfect food for me. it has the right amount of ingredients-action, romance, sadness and some slight touches on humor. sigh i definitely enjoyed watching this and i think, this role suited lee min ho perfectly. but maybe i'm biased cos i like cool heroes who can fight and all. hehehe there were some really sad parts too, parts that made me blink my eyes more often than not. sigh as for the ending, i had hoped to see a little more, it kinda felt open. with the romance, with his dad among other things.
but overall, this is a good watch which i definitely recommend for action and romance fans. not only that, it also has humor, so much revenge and twists. it's all complete and online. i watched it on epdrama. enjoy!!!

Cha must overcome her past and her grief for her dead boyfriend, and come to terms with her feelings for Kim Jaeyoon, the young DA from the Prosecutor's Office who has been assigned to work for H.I.T.
i loved this show. ko hyun jung was amazing. well i don't really know the exact reasons as to why i loved it, but i do know that i watched this show whenever i could without stopping hehehe there's so many things all rolled into one here. for example, a love between two people who have differences professionally and personally learn to understand each other. it also concentrates on prosecutors and police officers and their daily lives. they show how a team put together all of a sudden grow to really work as a team and it was amazing. there were some parts that were so real, i myself felt embarassed at some situations for soo kyung. and of course, the action, the crime solving, mysteries all put together give this show such a great action feel.
it has all the elements i love, plus the fabulous acting by the cast, and i'm hooked. it's definitely a show to watch for all those action and romance lovers. hehehehe enjoy!! you'll find most of them on dramacrazy, tudou but there were some parts where there was no sound at all. so don't get worried ur speaker is spoilt or anything. it's just the part doesn't hav sound. enjoy once again!

She then realizes that her death was no coincidence and Jin-ho is in imminent danger. Unable to communicate with normal humans, Nanami seeks help from the elderly psychic Unten (Kirin Kiki) in hopes of saving Jin-ho’s life.
if you're not into fantasy, supernatural and romance, i suggest you skip this. i, on the other hand, was totally satisfied with what they were able to do in this movie. it was short but fulfilling...spoilers ahead...
i just wish that it was a happier ending instead of tragic. i can't belive song seung heon talked in japanese. he was good. all in all, it's a good movie to pass time with if you have nothing better to do. enjoy it on mysoju.
