A video game developer's world spirals out of control when his shape-shifting indestructible virtual creation becomes all too real.
i wanted to see this movie as it looked interesting in the trailers. we don't see much of this type of indian movies, futuristic, action, science fiction, etc. so you can understand me when i say i was interested as to how our hero literally became a superhero. i wondered how the story went, what exactly was it, and why.
well, i have finally finished watching the movie and i have to admit, at no point did i feel like i wanted to fast forward it. yes, since i watched it online, there were some parts that were too dark; many in fact. but ignoring that, as i continued watching the movie, it kept me glued, made me strain my ears as to why all whatever was going on was happening.
although futuristic gizmo and science fiction is not really my cup of tea, i enjoyed myself, especially with the humor at times. especially the intro. had me there for a while, but being someone who plays mmorpgs occassionally, i began to get an inkling of what was happening. hehehe and voila, what i thought was true lol.
it also helped that the songs were really catchy especially 'chammak challo' and 'dildara'. i especially loved the latter, which is a mix of stand by me as well. the tune really went well. the former is so catchy whenever i hear it, it makes me nod my head and my fingers and legs start their rythmic disposition ;p
although i wouldn't say you must go and watch it, i'd definitely say it was worth my time watching it. at least it wasn't a waste like some which i'll not name ehehe

Patiala House (hindi movie)
At Patiala House lives the Kahlon family ruled by Bauji. They follow his diktats as he tries to hold onto his 'Indian values' in the land of the 'goras'. The younger generations at the Patiala House wants to assert themselves and follow their dreams but are held back by their respect and love for Bauji and the shining example of Bauji's eldest son, Parghat Singh Kahlon aka Gattu. Gattu gave up his dream at the altar of Bauji's biases.
His reward: For the last 17 years he has been working in a corner store.
Will Bauji loosen his hold and let the youngsters find their own dreams instead of following his?
Will Gattu get a second chance to live his life?
What's more important: family or dreams?
And why must we choose one or the other?
it seems there have been mixed reviews to this movie. for me personally, i enjoyed it. initially, i thought that maybe this was another cricket movie with some romance and all, but as i watched on, i was proven wrong. it's more of an inspirational movie, to follow your dreams when you have the opportunity. recently, most akshay kumar movies have been similar, with comedy and romance, etc but this one is more subtle.
it's sad at times, gattu's hesitance and his siblings' opinions are all understandable, it's what we have faced at one point or another in our lives.
to follow a dream, you need support. if you don't have that, it can be quite tough to hold on to the dreams. this movie made my eyes tear at some parts, seriously, and i'm not one known to cry easily. my heart was all choked up sheesh, luckily i was alone hehe
well, you may want to try if you're up for an inspirational movie to boost yourself up as well hehe i watched this on youtube and i watched the one with eng subs so it was easier to understand in case i couldn't hear some words. hope you enjoy

Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na (hindi movie)
I don't think i'll get tired of this movie. I admit it's a little cliched but it happens. There could have been some improvements in some areas of acting but there were some moments which really rocked for me. It's a simple story but friendship rocks here.
This movie is about two best friends, Jai and Aditi, and their friendship. It shows how close they are and yet, not even an inkling of romantic feelings between them initially. And so, the story progresses. ^_^
I really liked Emran Khan's acting here. It was his first film i think, and he did well. It also helps that he's really good looking ehehe And Aditi, (sorry i forgot her name><") is natural with her role too. The role really suited her. There were times that I felt that she overdid a little but not much. I really enjoyed how close the two leads were. They acted so well being platonic friends that it looked natural. I watched this movie on youtube and they have really good quality there. Hope you guys enjoy it.
