MY Girlfriend is an Agent

Disguised as a travel agent, “Su-ji” is a government spy with six years’ experience who can’t reveal her career to her boyfriend “Jae-joon.” After she lies again, her boyfriend breaks up with her and leaves without notice, leaving her struggling alone with her sadness. Three years later, while chasing an industrial spy in disguise as a cleaning lady, she happens to run into Jae-joon. He’s become an international certified accountant, and seeing him throws her feelings into doubt. Jae-joon has become tired of his girlfriend’s constant and suspicious lies. In one phone call, he tells her he’s leaving Korea to study in Russia. Three years later, disguised as a distinguished international accountant, he enters the NIS (National Intelligence Service) as an agent in its overseas branch. He’s a newbie who got a late start, but he’s highly motivated and takes off on his first field mission, chasing a Russian crime organization, when he runs into Su-ji. It’s shocking to see her now as a hotel cleaning lady, but his affections for her are as strong as ever… Lying is part of the job, secrecy is the name of the game in "My Girlfriend is an Agent".
this movie was so hilarious, it made me laugh in every episode of the 12 episodes it had. kang ji hwan was awesome here. most of the comic relief was all due to him and he did his role so well it suited him perfectly. kim ha neul as his girlfriend and a pro agent was so cool hehehe i definitely recommend watching this movie, even if it's just for the comic relief ehehe it's all complete, online with english subs and on youtube. enjoy it and laugh your heart out till your sides ache.

Patiala House (hindi movie)

At Patiala House lives the Kahlon family ruled by Bauji. They follow his diktats as he tries to hold onto his 'Indian values' in the land of the 'goras'. The younger generations at the Patiala House wants to assert themselves and follow their dreams but are held back by their respect and love for Bauji and the shining example of Bauji's eldest son, Parghat Singh Kahlon aka Gattu. Gattu gave up his dream at the altar of Bauji's biases.
His reward: For the last 17 years he has been working in a corner store.
Will Bauji loosen his hold and let the youngsters find their own dreams instead of following his?
Will Gattu get a second chance to live his life?
What's more important: family or dreams?
And why must we choose one or the other?
it seems there have been mixed reviews to this movie. for me personally, i enjoyed it. initially, i thought that maybe this was another cricket movie with some romance and all, but as i watched on, i was proven wrong. it's more of an inspirational movie, to follow your dreams when you have the opportunity. recently, most akshay kumar movies have been similar, with comedy and romance, etc but this one is more subtle.
it's sad at times, gattu's hesitance and his siblings' opinions are all understandable, it's what we have faced at one point or another in our lives.
to follow a dream, you need support. if you don't have that, it can be quite tough to hold on to the dreams. this movie made my eyes tear at some parts, seriously, and i'm not one known to cry easily. my heart was all choked up sheesh, luckily i was alone hehe
well, you may want to try if you're up for an inspirational movie to boost yourself up as well hehe i watched this on youtube and i watched the one with eng subs so it was easier to understand in case i couldn't hear some words. hope you enjoy

Coffee House (korean drama)

Lee Jin Soo is a talented novelist who shot to stardom at a young age after writing a series of bestsellers. He finds two potential love interests in Seo Eun Young, a publishing executive, and Kang Seung Yeon, the daughter of the Page One Coffee Shop who is studying for the civil service examination and later becomes Jin Soo's secretary.
After so long, i've come out of my lazy shell (just for a while) to write about this drama that got me hooked for a few days. there were so many twists and turns, and it was so complex with all the relationship problems. and i usually don't go for that, but i was attracted to this series because of the leads as well.
the cast was superb in my opinion, all did a wonderful job here, i was frustrated at times though, as i felt that maybe it was getting a little slow occassionally but other than that, it was great. and i was really satisfied with the ending, because of my bias i guess. heehe i like this particular actress so he ended up with her, although i'm not gonna let the cat out of the bag. it was sad at times too, and hilarious at others. this is more a comedy romance, i feel, but at the same time, it makes me think it's realistic too. jin soo was fabulous, his role so eccentric and kang ji hwan managed to pull it off. that role suited him perfectly hehe
for a while, around ep 12, i thought the series had ended and i thought it was like an open end and that made me really frustrated as i thought i had seen 18 eps so i confirmed and voila, it was 18 eps. so i sat down again to watch the rest of the eps hehehe
well i was quite engrossed and enjoyed it myself. it's all online and complete with english subs. i watched on dramacrazy, it has links there. hope you enjoy it.
